Our vendor has owned this Opalescent Blue Metallic 1978 Aston Martin V8 convertible since 2008 and used it to take part on the 2019 MIPIM rally to Nice. It was registered in January 1978 and has 66,603 miles showing on its odometer. Its last MoT expired in April 2019 after being tested the year before at an indicated 61,480 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Aston Martin no longer requires annual testing. The car is reported to be running and driving well with no known issues, and was driven to the sale. It was transformed from a saloon into a convertible by Paul Banham Conversions some years ago and restored circa 2008, with invoices and photos in the file.
There's an extensive history with the Aston Martin that includes the current and past V5Cs/V5s, MoT certificates back to 1999, the owner's handbook, owner's workshop manual, Aston Martin Heritage Certificate, invoices, some historical notes on the car and photos.
