This 1967 ‘Pagoda' Mercedes-Benz 250 SL has been rally-prepared to a high standard and has taken part in several classic endurance rallies, including finishing second in a round the world rally. Its engine was rebuilt in 2016 and since then it has participated in the Iceland Saga event during 2019. Some of the rally preparations include a roll cage, rally seat, rally trip meter upgraded shock absorbers, double coil springs, sump guard, removeable bull bars, electric isolator, second fuel tank and upgraded exhaust system. The hard top and original seats, steering wheel and trim will come with the car. The Mercedes was built in 1967 but was UK-registered in October 1989. The odometer shows 49,254 miles and the last MoT expired in April 2019 after being tested the previous year at an indicated 46,250 miles. As an historic vehicle it is now MoT exempt. It is reported as running and driving well although some welding work is required. Comes with V5
