This beautiful 1952 Porsche 356 is numbers matching and a complete Model 52 Bent Window. Originally, built by Reutter Coachwork and restored by the well known Mike DeJonge of Restoration Design. The car maintains many of its extremely rare original patina-ed components. Chassis number 11652 has this car as one of the early Model 52 bent window examples. With a production date of September 11, 1952 this is believed to be a “Body Bumper” car. October and onward production of 1952 356 cars for EXPORT were produced with non-body bumpers. 11652 originally delivered to a dealer in Boblingen, Germany consensus is that 1952 cars delivered in Germany remained as body bumper cars. This combination of a bent window with body bumper makes this a very special car.

11652 is was delivered to Douglas Milliet of Boblingen, Germany. It is believed that Mr. Milliet was stationed at the US Army base in Boblingen. We assume Mr. Milliet brought his 356 home with him to Louisiana after his deployment where the car remained under different owners in the South East.

This Model 52 was delivered in black with optional equipment including a Telefunken Radio, Hirschmann antenna, chrome hubcaps, special finned hubcap surrounds and bench seat. The original engine and transmission remain with the car. The engine is a Type 527 air-cooled four-cylinder. Displacement of 1,488 cc and 60 bhp, stamped engine number 30663.

A fantastic opportunity to own a special piece of Porsche history.
